East Devon District Council would like to remind dog owners about their responsibility for cleaning up dog fouling, that it is ultimately down to the owner or handler of the dog.
Witnesses: Another helpful matter is for any witnesses who see dog fouling and the owners not picking up to provide E.D.D.C with the following:
Full description of the dog
Male or Female owner
Exact Location of fouling
If there is a regular pattern for the dog walker, for example they walk their dog at around 08:30hrs each day, all this information will be useful so that they can target these people at specific times and create a window of opportunity to catch them.
If you wish to report any incidents please contact the Customer Service Centre on 01395 571517 and a call can be logged. This will be referred to the Environmental Health Dept and dealt with by an officer.
Please contact Ann Broom if you would like to book the village hall.
Service dates and times.
A message to remind everyone in Cotleigh of the importance of being observant and that if anything appears suspcious to contact 101.
Welcome to the Cotleigh website!
Cotleigh is a small rural village in East Devon, nestling on the southern edge of the Blackdown Hills, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty - a few miles from Honiton and situated between the A30 and A35.
The website is for all, and we hope it will make a useful contribution to village life.
At the moment it has ...
- a gallery - for photos and illustrations of the village, village life and local activities
- an events / news section - so we can all know what is going on and what is coming up!
- a parish council meetings section - so we can stay in touch with the 'business' of village life
- a fete page - a special page to share plans for this years Fete
In the future we hope to add a history page, a notice board, and to encourage greater interactivity across the whole website.
